Airspace data removed from Navigation Database in Asia, Pacific, and
Middle East

AFFECTED PRODUCTS
All GMX 200 systems using the Jeppesen DGAT37 International Database and all MX20 systems using
the Jeppesen DGAT27 International Database or the Garmin AT Datacard P/N 138-0551-058 or the
Garmin AT ChartView™ Datacard P/N 138-0553-058 are affected.
DESCRIPTION
Due to continued data expansion, and a memory/design limitation of the affected systems, airspace data
will be removed from many countries in Asia, Pacific, and the Middle East. Beginning in Cycle 2307
(effective July 13, 2023), all airspace data for the following countries will no longer be included in the
Navigation Database:

• Bangladesh
• Bhutan
• China
• Guam
• Hong Kong
• India
• Japan
• Kampuchea
• Laos
• Malaysia
• Maldives
• Mongolia
• Myanmar
• Nepal
• North Korea
• Pakistan
• Philippines
• South Korea
• Sri Lanka
• Syria
• Taiwan
• Thailand
• Vietnam

The above countries are in addition to the airspaces in the following countries which were removed as part
of Garmin Data Alert 2118 Rev B.
• All countries in Africa (with the exception of South Africa)
• Afghanistan
• Bahrain
• Iran
• Kuwait
• Oman
• Qatar
• Saudi Arabia
• United Arab Emirates
• Yemen

PILOT ACTION
Be aware of this data change. Obtain an alternate means of viewing airspace information.
